The Department of Occupational and Environmental Medicine aims to prevent exposure of harmful factors that cause occupational and environmental diseases, to promote early detection, treatment and rehabilitation, and to help patients return to work.
※ Treatment fields (occupational and environmental diseases): noise-induced hearing loss, organic solvent poisoning, pneumoconiosis, heavy metal poisoning (lead, mercury, cadmium, etc.), exposure to agricultural pesticides and hydrofluoric acid, defoliant-related diseases, fitness-for-work assessment, work-related evaluation (industrial accident compensation insurance), occupational musculoskeletal diseases, sick building (house) syndrome, agricultural and fishery-related diseases (farmers’ syndrome), various occupational diseases and diseases related to environmental pollution (benzopyrene, etc.) ※Health examination fields: National Health Insurance Services health examination and cancer screening, pre-employment health examination, issuance of English medical certificate necessary for overseas employment and studies, physical examination of aviation workers, health examination of foreign English instructors, medical certificate for international marriage
